Bassist and composer Steve Messick performs in Seattle, WA. He is the owner of Opus Funkus Music, the founder and band leader of the Endemic Ensemble, and the coprincipal bassist for Orchestra Seattle / Seattle Chamber Singers (OSSCS). Messick has produced three commercial jazz CDs: Lunar (2012), New Bop Brigade (2005), and Transmissions From Planet Bass (1999).
